Dr. Andy Clarke BEng(Hons) MSc PhD MBA CEng FIMechE

Andy was born in West Africa, in Lagos, Nigeria on May 15th, 1969. He was educated in England at King Edward's School, Bath, from 1980 to 1985. In 1987 he joined the British Army, and served for 9 years 256 days in the REME, the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. In 1996, he left the Army and attended the University of Nottingham to study for a B.Eng.(Hons) degree. In 1999, he moved to Manchester and gained an M.Sc. in 2000 and a Ph.D. in 2003 from the University of Manchester. In 2007 he gained an MBA in Industrial Management from Sheffield Hallam University.

In 2011 Andy founded NLTV with 3 colleagues, and Andy is currently an owner and the Business and Finance Director at NLTV.

He would be happy to provide organisations and undergraduate students with further information about the highly funded and rewarding Ph.D. programme at the Manchester Materials Science Centre, his MBA at Sheffield Hallam University, or his current work.
